The Alexandria Ice Fishing Challenge was held on Saturday, February 9th. Despite the chilly temps and a Northwest wind gusting to over 40 miles per hour, close to 2000 people tried for their share of $100,000 in prizes. The winning fish was a 3.81 Northern that was caught by Harold Wildman of Villard, Mn. Wildman took home the grand prize of a new Ford F150 4 by 4 pickup. The Alexandria Sertoma Club and the Viking Sportsmen would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped with this year's Challenge.
